Presentation Design & Strategy

The deck
is never
just a deck.

More than twenty-five years turning complex enterprise ideas into presentations that the whole room can understand.

What I
do best.

Not everything — just some things I've spent twenty-five years getting pretty decent at.

Executive Presentations Board decks, investor narratives, leadership communications
Sales Enablement Pitch decks, product storytelling, tools for account reps
Brand & Strategy Identity, messaging frameworks, campaign design
"

I try not to just design slides — I'd rather find the story you may not know you have and then we can build something around that.

My recurring theme... #truth
4

Simple
on purpose.

Step one
Listen first
Let's start with what you need to accomplish — not what we want the deck to look like. Unless you're that one client (listed above), then yes: let's start with what the deck looks like.
Step two
Find the thread
Every presentation has a central idea that makes the rest cohere. I'll help you find it, name it, and build for it.
Step three
Design with purpose
Visual design serves the story. Every choice is intentional, tested for clarity, built to hold up under scrutiny.
Step four
Deliver and refine
Fast turnaround, clean handoffs. You get a final file that works the first time you open it on stage. But hopefully you've opened it before the day of the show.

More than
slides.

I am a designer, strategist, and visual storyteller with more than 25 years of experience working with some of the world's most recognizable enterprise brands.

I do a lot of presentations and slides, but I also do a whole lot of other projects. Depending on the needs, that might mean building a brand identity (logos, collateral, etc.) from scratch, developing a messaging framework, designing a marketing campaign, creating motion graphics, creating your bands album artwork (like "Head East"), or leading a workshop to help a team find clarity in project management or power-user PPT tricks.

The throughline in all of it: figuring out what you're actually trying to say — and then making it look like you meant it all along.

Presentation Design
Executive decks, sales enablement, investor narratives, keynote design
Brand Identity
Visual systems, logo, typography, color, guidelines
Marketing & Campaign
Campaign design, collateral, digital assets, print
Motion & Video
Motion graphics, animated presentations, video production support
Workshops & Consulting
Facilitated sessions, messaging strategy, narrative development

Based in Kansas City. Working everywhere else.

The work
speaks for itself.
Just not
publicly.

Most of my portfolio is under NDA. Workday, Amazon, NetSuite, and others have trusted me with content that lives in boardrooms, on sales stages, and in front of investors — and that's exactly where it stays.
